About the Work
Initiated by Tang Chia-Ho, 竹山開飯了 (ZHUSHAN KAI FAN LE) is a participatory installation centered on Zhushan local culture, circular materials, and site reactivation.
Starting from bamboo, bamboo-fiber tableware, and plant-fiber materials, the work asks how materials can return to daily life — and to place — after their first use is complete.

Core Concept
竹山開飯了 (ZHUSHAN KAI FAN LE) begins with bamboo, bamboo-fiber tableware, and plant-fiber materials, asking how materials can return to life and place after their first purpose is fulfilled.
Bamboo tubes become grove structures; bowls, plates, forks, and spoons are remade into blossoms and installation details — so objects from the table become part of Zhushan's landscape again.
Set at Taixi Bus Zhushan Station · Zhuqingting Cultural Space, the work opens a dialogue between an old public place and circular materials, responding to local memory, public dwelling, and site reuse.
